Zum goldenen Hirschen helps to remember the Alzheimer’s disease
ZgH Cologne is in for a good cause: helping the “Deutsche Alzheimer Gesellschaft“ in their fight for public awareness towards the issue of dementia. To achieve a broad level of interest, they developed a series of postcards that take the viewer by surprise.
At first sight these cards look like typical picture postcards from holiday destinations. But you won’t find any like these wherever you go on holiday – guaranteed! Working nearly as sneaky as the Alzheimer’s disease itself, the postcards demonstrate to the viewer what dementia can actually mean for the persons concerned: total disorientation and, as a result of it, helplessness.
The “Deutsche Alzheimer Gesellschaft” is using the postcards nationwide at public events for senior citizens and also for general PR work, especially in promoting the “World Dementia Day” on September 21st. Its motto this year is “Dementia – more than just a word.”
The advertising and ideas agency “Zum goldenen Hirschen” was founded in 1995 and is one of the ten biggest owner-managed communications agencies in Germany. 240 employees in Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Dubai and New York service diverse clients such as real, Deutsche Finanzagentur, TV Digital, Boehringer Ingelheim, Hannover Messe and Cebit, toom Baumärkte, Ärzte ohne Grenzen and also various ministries and institutions, with a total billing volume of more than 100 million Euro. The agency group is offering every tool in integrated communications, from classical advertising and strategic consultancy to design and event, from online and guerrilla marketing to naming, PR and corporate communications; making „Zum goldenen Hirschen“ Germany’s leading Campaigning agency.
